A life rescued and transformed by the power of God is a beautiful thing! I asked my friend, Angiiy Rodriguez, to share her story because I believe it will resonate with many of my readers. Thank you Angiiy for your honesty and openness. God gets all the glory!

Angiiy’s story:

A year ago, this girl was broken.  A year ago, this girl was hopeless.

A year ago, this girl believed lies that said she wasn’t enough, that she was usable, that she would never be truly loved.

A year ago she believed that she’d gone too far, too far from grace, too far from God.

But let me tell you something:  God came running after me.

He snatched me from the path I was traveling on, turned me around and, “I still love you.

In a moment, everything that I thought I knew, everything that I thought I wanted, everything that I had experienced…..shifted.  And so would the healing process begin.

It’s taken months, twelve to be exact, to see just how beautiful God’s grace is. Each and every day is an opportunity for me to love Him back as much as His grace pours over me.  His grace is immeasureable and His love is unstoppable.  And really, we’re here to honor Him, to serve Him, to love Him, to know Him and be known by Him, to make Him known to others.  I’m thankful that He initiated the first move and loved me first and taught me how to love.

Today, I look forward to the future with a smile. (Proverbs 31:25)

Today, I am wrapped in His grace. (Ephesians 2:8-10, Acts 15:11)

Today, I am fully known and loved. (1 Corinthians 13:12)

Today, I am accepted by God because of my Saviour Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21, Hebrews 9:12, Hebrews 10:10,

Today, I know my sins have been washed white as snow and the slate is clean. (Isaiah 1:18, Isaiah 43:25, Hebrews 10:17)

Today, I know I am fearfully and wonderfully made because the Master Potter made me in His own image. (Psalm 139:14, Genesis 1:27)

Today, I am new and whole. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Today and forevermore, I am God’s.
